My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Macy Grey is in training with her foster mom Jamie--- She adores attention. Macy is approximately 1 1/2 to 2 years old and about 50 pounds....Her foster mom, sent an update as follows:
Macy Grey is a people dog for sure, getting along with the other dogs, but much more interested in being with me. She is probably around 50 lbs of pure muscle, typical bullie breed. She seems good with the cats. She is quite a love, would spend all her time right next to me, given the option. She has learned to share me with the others but would rather not. She is totally crate trained and should be easy to train, as she is quite food motivated.

Macy is a resource guarder so we are working on things like sitting and waiting for her food, and letting me take it away from her before she is finished. Now I can say, "Leave it" as I take her dish away and ask her to sit and wait until I give it back with an "OK." We're working on similar things with regards to taking treats and allowing other dogs in her proximity to get their treats in front of her. We've more "leave it" practice to do but she is learning.
