Peanut's Story...
Peanut was rescued from a shelter and is in a foster home where he is charming his foster mom with his great personality! He is a red min pin with a natural tail, is about 1-2 years of age and he weighs only about 12 pounds. Peanut was found as a stray dog with a broken leg, but fortunately it healed well and he is very active and spry. Peanut's hobby is chasing butterflies and grasshoppers! He is very playful and energetic and loves to chase toys that are thrown around the yard for him. Peanut enjoys riding in the car, is good with other dogs and would probably chase cats if they ran. Peanut will do best with an active family with older kids and a fenced yard would be ideal. Peanut is house trained, crate trained and walks very well on a leash. He is with a 501c3 non profit rescue. His $250 adoption fee covers his neuter, heartworm test and pill, shots, worming, and microchip.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peanut, a Osseo Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher for sale in Osseo, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Osseo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Osseo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Osseo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Osseo paves the way for another one to be saved.
