Buddy is a very nice lovable cat who needs a home. His family can no longer keep him because they're moving to another state. Buddy is 10 years old, good with kids, and is friendly with a small dog, He's mellow and is a great lap cat. He loves to cuddle! He's healthy, neutered and his vaccines are current. He's litter box trained. We'd like to see Buddy get a home as soon as possible!

Foster families are provided with everything their foster kitty needs. There is no adoption fee, but we gladly accept donations, which are tax deductible and helps us help the cats..

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buddy, a Washington Terrace Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Washington Terrace, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Washington Terrace.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Washington Terrace already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Washington Terrace breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Washington Terrace paves the way for another one to be saved.
