Raina's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Raina's Story...
Raina is a extremely sweet 4-year old Chihuahua mix, about 13 lbs, who spent almost two months in the shelter and while her time was running out. She is a wonderful dog but she kept being overlooked! Perhaps her exotic camouflage fur didn't help her stand out enough to be noticed. Raina has a very sweet and affectionate personality, and a calm and quiet demeanor. Raina gets along great with other dogs, loves to sun bathe and curl up in bed. She's a special girl who deserves a special person to love her.

While Raina is also looking for a forever loving home, she currently needs temporary foster home until she is adopted.

Please visit www.dogswithoutborders.org for more information on how to adopt or foster Raina. You may also meet her in person at our adoption fairs! See our website for directions/ details about our adoption events.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Raina, a Encino Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound for sale in Encino, or seeking a Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound dog from a breeder in Encino.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Encino already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Encino breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound breeders who help with Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Encino paves the way for another one to be saved.
