Donner's Story...
This sweet 16 year old boy was dumped by his owners in terrible shape at the West L.A. Shelter.  He was rescued shortly before Christmas, and we named him Donner.  He is an apricot colored Miniature Poodle and weighs about 14 pounds.

He had a very painful eye which needed to be surgically removed, horribly infected ears and severe tooth tartar.  He's all fixed-up now, and he's feeling sooooo much better!  He is blind in his remaining eye and quite hard of hearing, but that does not get him down!  He quickly learned where the food and water bowls are, and his favorite bed, too.  He is quiet, very sweet and also very gentle with his foster-sister with whom he shares his home.

He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on shots and ready for his forever-home.  There is a $100 adoption fee.  For more information about him, or to arrange to meet him please call Debra (310) 546-7380 or email DSuard@adelphia.net.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Donner, a Rolling Hills Estates Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Rolling Hills Estates, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Rolling Hills Estates.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rolling Hills Estates already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rolling Hills Estates breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rolling Hills Estates paves the way for another one to be saved.
