My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lena just came to us after her owner brought her in to be put to sleep. She was lively and wagging and friendly and didn't appear to be on her death bed. The vets diagnosed her with a minor bladder infection and suggested she be turned over to us rather than end this darling's life. We now have the most grateful, charming, friendly, people-loving, purebred Boston Terrier you can imagine. A new home for her with caring people would be welcomed. She's about 11 years old and is a small Boston Terrier - less than 12 lbs. She's an instant charmer and likes everybody and everything.
She is being treated by the clinic here for the infection and will make a nice recovery. You'd never know from her energy level. We've also discovered she has some skin allergies, and will need to be treated with inexpensive prednisone on occasion.
She loves to sit on your lap, she plays fetch, she's very well trained including housebroken. So we suspect most of her life she was well looked after. She's just not done with living and can make the right people very happy. Someone who can spend time with her would be preferable as she gets very attached to the human companions she spends time with and bonds with.
