Mozzarella's Story...
POSTED 10/19/09: Macaroni and Mozzarella are brother and sister. They are about 9 weeks old and super sweet and loving. They get along great and would make a wonderful pair of kittens if you are interested in adopting a bonded pair. Macaroni is a medium to long haired orange male and Mozzarella is a medium to long haired black and white tuxedo female who is also a bobtail. These kittens have been in a foster home with other cats, dogs, and nice older children so they would be a wonderful addition to a good family. If you are interested in meeting Macaroni or Mozzarella, they will be at PetsMart on Archer Road in Gainesville from 11am-5pm Sat and Sun. Ask to speak to our adoption coordinator, Robin. You can also e-mail us at spcagainesville@hotmail.com for an adoption questionnaire or visit our website at www.spacgainesville.webs.com for more information about our rescue organization. All of our cats and kittens have been leukemia tested, vaccinated, vet checked, dewormed, treated for fleas with advantage, spayed or neutered, and microchipped prior to adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mozzarella, a Putnam Hall Domestic Longhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Putnam Hall, or seeking a Domestic Longhair kitten from a breeder in Putnam Hall.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Putnam Hall already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Putnam Hall breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Putnam Hall paves the way for another one to be saved.
