Chloe's Story...
Meet Chloe, a sweet, super friendly 1 ½ year old Chocolate Lab mix. She’s very affectionate and just loves to snuggle. She is definitely a people lover; great with kids and other dogs. She is crate trained and 95% housetrained. Chloe is working to fine tune some of her manners. She is making great progress but will need some additional training. She is current on all her vaccinations, is spayed and heartworm negative. As you can see from the pictures, she is also a little camera shy. Chloe just came into foster care, so we will update her bio as we learn more about her. Chloe is such a loving dog and would make a wonderful pet. Come and meet Chloe!

As HAHS has several adoption locations, please contact Amy at (913) 709-7948 or a.fontaine@sbcglobal.net to find out when and where you can meet CHLOE!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chloe, a Overland Park Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
