found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.
Jewel made a trip to the vet soon thereafter and was checked out from head to tail. Other than being underweight, Jewel was in good health. She tested heartworm-negative (and has begun monthly heartworm prevention). Jewel was also vaccinated, spayed and micro-chipped. Our $175 adoption fee helps offset the cost of Jewel's vet visit. Our vet estimates that Jewel was likely born in Oct. 2008.
If Jewel could find a forever home where there were kids to play with, that would suit her to a "T". This beautiful young lady LOVES KIDS, although she doesn't know her own size and may be a bit too playful for very young children. As far as canine companions go, Jewel gets along beautifully with the other dogs in her foster home. We're not yet sure how Jewel would feel about living with cats.
Jewel seems to understand that life got really good the day of her rescue. She is a perpetually happy, cheerful girl who wants to love and be loved right back. If you would like to provide sweet Jewel with a loving, forever home, we invite you to submit an adoption application today:
