Ranger's Story...
Ranger is a very special pittie who has wriggled his way into this volunteer's heart in a big way! With his ever-tilting head, expressive ears, and eager greeting at the kennel door, Ranger is one adorable pooch. It is hard to resist his imploring eyes that ask you to please take him out, just as it is hard to not be infected with his unabashed glee when his hope has been realized: yes, he is the dog you have chosen to take out.

Ranger is a wonderful walking companion-- he is interested in other dogs, and when introduced to males and females alike, seems to want to play. He will stay right by your side as you walk the pathways of the nearby park, and will look up at you often to check in to make sure all is well. Ranger will make someone a very loyal, lovable canine companion who is an utter delight to be with, spreading his joy and enthusiasm for life wherever he goes.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ranger, a Berkeley American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Berkeley, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Berkeley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berkeley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berkeley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berkeley paves the way for another one to be saved.
