My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I am a true ambassador for my breed. I am a people and dog lover; not sure how I feel about cats though. I will always let you know how much I love you by the endearing way I stay by your side on a walk, and the searching way I look up into your eyes. Having arrived at my foster mom's house woefully underweight, I am slowly filling out my long and lanky frame-- and becoming quite a handsome boy along the way!

I get very excited when I see other dogs, and will sometimes bark and strain a little in an attempt to get their attention. This is just a demonstration of friendly interest in other dogs, for I am only now learning proper socializing behavior, having not been taught it in my young life. I know sit, down and wait, and work very hard to please my foster mom. I don't really pull on the leash, but do like to carry it in my mouth. I know that with more training (and a little bit of time), I will grow out of my exuberant puppy stage and will learn to convey my interest with restrained and appropriate enthusiasm.

Right now I am living with my foster mom and her super duper 6 year old male American bulldog mix. I love him! We wrestle and play and he is very good about teaching me boundaries and manners. I would do very well in a home with another dog and a dog that knows how to correct me properly when I am being an energetic puppy. Come meet me, for I want so badly to be loved!
