Flicka-Courtesy post's Story...
Hi! My name is Flicka and I'm a young female Shepherd Mix about 1 year old. A nice couple rescued me from the streets and took pity on me. I'm so thankful! They named me Flicka, and I'm so excited! I never had a name before. I am staying with one of my rescuers right now, but he can't keep me because of his work schedule. I love my current doggie roommate, and I don't even mind the one that looks kind of odd (they seem to call it a "cat"). I'm also good with kids. What more could anyone want? Can you provide me a warm, loving home to grow up in? Please call Carrie at 216-548-2219 or email her at cpaskert@sbcglobal.net for more information.

**Note: This dog is not at the Berea Shelter. Please contact Carrie directly for more information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Flicka-Courtesy post, a Berea German Shepherd Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Berea, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Berea.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berea already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berea breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berea paves the way for another one to be saved.
