Oliver's Story...
I need someone close by me to help take care of me all the time. I am a little insecure, but with your patience, I will dedicate my life to taking care of you. I also need someone who can keep me quiet for a couple of months so I can recouperate. I have some special needs, but stop by for a visit with me and I will tell you my story.

The shelter received a donation to pay for Heartworm treatment just for me. My treatment started April 5th and I will need special care for the next two months.

Act quickly to adopt Oliver. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oliver, a Brenham Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Brenham, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Brenham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brenham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brenham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brenham paves the way for another one to be saved.
