My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Bailey. I am a beautiful black, medium coated retreiver mix of some kind. I was in another shelter for a very long time, I waited and waited for someone to come in and take me home with them but it never seemed to happen. I watched as many other dogs joyfully passed my kennel on their way to a new life but never me. I became sadder and sadder as time grew on. I quit going up to the gate with a wagging tail, I just began sulking in the back of my kennel. I had made a decision that I could take care of myself and I did not need a family. The people at that shelter did not know what to do with me, but they really wanted me to get a home so they called Family Dogs . It is really different here. I get to run and play all day and I have made many new friends. I think I have decided that now I do want a family of my own. I kind of forgot what it was like and I am a little scared but really believe I have another chance. I am a very sweet boy, housebroken and have had some training. I am not very old so I have alot of love to give and probably alot of learning to do. I am ok with other dogs, cats and even kids if they are older, some of the kids that came to look at me at the other shelter were not very nice so I am a little unsure of them at first. I really will make a great friend and loyal companion if you just give me the chance! My adoption fee is $150.00 and includes adoption supplies. 60 lbs - 18 months old
