Romeo's Info...

Romeo's Story...
Romeo was wandering in Ault Park, a little man-with-a-plan who made it known that he wanted a home. First, he jumped into his rescuer’s lap, wanting food and comfort. After devouring some dinner, he settled in trustingly for a nap on her lap. When she tried to leave the park, he kept up, step by step, slowing when she slowed, speeding up when she did—following her all the way home! This determined little guy appears to be no more than a year old, a handsome boy with beautiful eyes. He wears a grey tabby cloak on top of his head, back and tail, over pure white fur, chest and tummy.
Romeo is truly a lover--an affectionate, purring boy who doesn’t want much—just to be loved, held and petted. If that’s the kind of kitty you want , we have your Romeo!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Romeo, a Amelia Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Amelia, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Amelia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Amelia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Amelia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Amelia paves the way for another one to be saved.
