Tai's Story...
Tai is one of four girls born to Yama.

Yama was a pregnant stray that was picked up by Animal Control. She came into the shelter the end of September and on October 17th gave birth to 4 girls and 2 boys.

We gathered Yama and her 3-4 day old babies on October 20th. The clan are doing well - mom is trying to figure out containment and six very hungry little babies.

Yama is a beautiful girl - approximately 2 years old and 55+- when not pregnant. She will be up for adoption once her babies have been weaned. We will keep you updated as things progress.

Yama has 2 little boys: Schultz and Apollo and 4 little girls: Tai, Hamill, Jansen and Witt.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tai, a Marietta Setter (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Setter (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Setter (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Setter (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Setter (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
