My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I'm a 1-year-old spayed female Pit/Shepherd mix. And I just so happen to be the sweetest girl in the whole wide world! I love to give kisses and I'm very affectionate. My tail is always wagging when I see a friendly face. And my soulful brown eyes will draw you right in. Sadly, I was hit by a car and ended up with a broken femur. I spent 3 painful weeks sitting at the shelter without treatment. Then CageFree found me and took me to an orthopedic surgeon who fixed me all up. I underwent 8 weeks of physical therapy and now I'm all better and I can't wait to find my forever home! I'd love to meet you, so call CageFree if you're interested in me.

Here's what Kona's foster family had to say about her: Kona is really a sweet pea and loves to cuddle, especially at night. She prefers to lay in the bed as opposed to a huge dog beg although, if you tell her to go to her dog bed, she will obey. In the morning, she's good at whining at you to let you know when she has to go out. She walks well on a leash and doesn't have any aggression issues with pedestrians or other dogs. Kona doesn't get separation anxiety other than a little whimper here or there and I've never heard her bark! She's really good when guests come over and she's really friendly with other dogs who she doesn't know. Thanks so much for allowing me to foster Kona. We had so much fun!
