Mae's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Mae's Story...
The staff and volunteers can't believe I am still here. I am very depressed and they worry about me. I am so quiet you don't even know that I down here. My owner surrendered me because I don't like cats. I have NEVER snapped or shown any signs of aggression toward people. I am polite and gently take treats from the hands that feed me. I have NEVER had an accident in by kennel. I have a very thick coat of fur but I don't shed a lot. Good for Minnesota winters. My fur is silky black and as you can see by my picture I am a beautiful girl. If you are looking for a faithful friend I know I can meet your expectations, but please no cats! Keep me safe from them and I won't disappoint you. Please call to meet me soon. Mae. Adoption donation is $125 and that will include my spay, all of my up to date shots, flea/tick preventative, dewormer and a heartworm test. The shelter is open on Tues, Thurs and Sat from 1-4 or you can call 507-625-6373 to make an appointment.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mae, a Mankato Chow Chow/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chow Chow/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Mankato, or seeking a Chow Chow/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Mankato.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mankato already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mankato breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chow Chow/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Chow Chow/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mankato paves the way for another one to be saved.
