Sammie's Story...
Sammie is a beautiful, long-haired, dark-grey tabby (her pix do not do her justice!). She is sweet as pie and loves to be held, sitting on your lap for hours! She recently went to a fundraiser at a club downtown; people were amazed how she sat all evening, allowing everyone to stroke her long, silky fur. And even tho' Sammie has long hair, her fur doesn't mat like most long-haired cats.

Sammie is DECLAWED, Even tho' she is 11 years old, the vet says she is in excellent health, her teeth are in great condition, and she has MANY good years left to share with her new family!

If you are looking for THE ULTIMATE LAP CAT, look no further than Sammie!! She will give you many hours of love and friendship. Contact her Foster Mom, SHIRLEY, if you have questions or to meet this lovely girl! Shirley's phone is 724-448-5523 OR you can email Kathy at kathy@butchsav.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sammie, a Delmont Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Delmont, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Delmont.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Delmont already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Delmont breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Delmont paves the way for another one to be saved.
