Winston's Story...
Allow me to introduce myself… Hi, my name is Winston. I am a longhaired, three year old, orange colored Persian cat. My former owners felt that, due to allergies, it would be better if I could find another loving home. I’m very curious about my surroundings and love to explore! I come when you call my name, purr when you pet me, and love to follow my caregivers around. I like to play with the other cats in my foster home and even put up with the dog. I tend to be a little messy when I eat, and I need to be combed regularly to keep my coat soft and free from matting; but I make up for that with my charming personality! My foster mom says that I am ready to be adopted – I have been vet checked, neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and tested negative for FIV/FeLuk. Call 507-451-4512 to meet me in my foster home. My adoption fee is $150. (NN)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Winston, a Owatonna Persian cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Persian for sale in Owatonna, or seeking a Persian cat from a breeder in Owatonna.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Owatonna already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Owatonna breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Persian breeders who help with Persian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Owatonna paves the way for another one to be saved.
