Wags's Story...
Hello everyone!! My name is Wags, and I'm one cool dude.

I'm about 7 months old and right now I weigh 21 pounds.- as an adult, I probably won't weigh too much more than 25 pounds.

I love to play - especially with sticks! I like riding in a care, and my favorite thing to so is to lay on a person's lap. I get along with everyone and everything - and I especially LOVE cats!

I'm a typical puppy - and right now that means I like to chew. I will need lots of objects to help me through this phase - Kongs with peanut butter and rawhides (as long as you are watching me to make sure I don't swallow pieces of it!) are really great to keep me occupied. I'm a pretty curious guy, as are most pups.

I'm crate trained and leash trained - and I'm working on housetraining.

I've been neutered, am up to date with vaccinations, and am on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.

I'll do best in a home with children if they are over the age of 8. This is because of my chewing and sometimes puppy nipping. Young kids don't understand that I don't mean anything by it and don't really know how to redirect my inappropriate behavior!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wags, a Wake Forest Shih Tzu/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Wake Forest, or seeking a Shih Tzu/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Wake Forest.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wake Forest already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wake Forest breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Shih Tzu/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wake Forest paves the way for another one to be saved.
