Osiris - VIDEO's Story...
Osiris is living in a foster home, so please ask about how to meet him.

Osiris, named for an ancient Egyptian deity, is a mellow little guy who just needs someone to love him. He's shy but sweet -- a lovely boy. His foster mom says he's quite playful. His photos and video were done at the vet's, the day after he was altered. So, not surprisingly, Osiris was feeling a bit insecure and unsettled at the time. That shows in his face. Yet he was unfailingly gentle and quiet. When a stranger reached in to stroke him, he accepted the touch meekly and calmly. Later, when his foster mom rolled him over on his back to make sure his underside was healing well after his surgery, he even let her give him a bit of a tummy rub at the same time. Osiris is good with other cats and he has no problem with his foster mom's little dog. So he is certainly an easygoing fellow. He would probably like a quiet home best. All he needs is someone he can bond with to bring his purrs out. This handsome blue-eyed boy is going to be a real treasure for someone.

Osiris was born around the middle of 2001.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Osiris - VIDEO, a Maple Ridge Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Maple Ridge, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Maple Ridge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Maple Ridge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Maple Ridge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Maple Ridge paves the way for another one to be saved.
