My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

** Ben and Squeaky will be adopted as a pair only.**

Ben and Squeaky are very bonded to each other, and they will be happiest in a permanent home together.

Ben is a goofy tabby boy who has very distinct tabby stripes and spots. And look at those fabulous ear tufts, almost like a lynx. Ben loves playing hide and seek with Squeaky, and with people. His favorite toy is a furry mouse which he, quite entertainingly, stalks and flips in the air. When he exhausts himself with playtime, he likes to climb into a nearby lap for a nap and a cuddle. He has a motor that just won’t stop. One stroke and this little guy is purring louder than most full-size cats we know.

Squeaky is a darling boy who has a very sweet and gentle personality. He has beautiful shiny black fur that he keeps meticulously groomed when he isn't busy grooming his friends (Ben often benefits from Squeaky's hygienic habits). Squeaky is very curious and likes to investigate the things that most cats are afraid of, such as vacuum cleaners and running water. A cute kitten like Squeaky makes even vacuuming fun, but watch out for him surprising you in the shower first thing in the morning!

Both Squeaky and Ben are affectionate, snuggly boys who love to curl up and sleep next to their people all night long when they're not burning off their kitten play energy.

Ben was born in May 2009; Squeaky was born in April 2009.

As with all ARCF cats for adoption, Ben and Squeaky have been neutered, microchipped, are up to date on vaccines, and have tested negative for FeLV and FIV.

If you are interested in meeting Ben and Squeaky, please fill out the "I'm interested" form on our website, and our adoption coordinator will respond promptly. Please note that we place cats in the following counties only: Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas and Clark.

Animal Rescue & Care Fund, Inc. is a small rescue organization. We rescue homeless animals only, and do not accept owner-surrendered pets. All our animals live with volunteers in their homes until they are matched with the right permanent family. Thank you for considering one of our pets for adoption.
