Tesa's Story...
Tessa is a 2 year old Lab mix. She knows her basic obedience, is UTD with routine shots and is spayed. Tessa is also house trained

UPDATE:

Tessa is a shy pretty girl. She staying in a home with 3 cats and a foster dog visits frequently and she enjoys his company. She does fine when I have to work and she is left. I would not describe her as high energy but she likes to be outside with you and likes to go on walks. She seems equally content at your feet.

She is very comfortable with the crate and will often go in it just to sleep. She loves affection and will curl up on the floor next to you and put her head in your lap. We have a big yard which we walk around and she stays with me, she comes when she is called , sits and heels. She pulls a little on the leash but we are working on it. She likes to ride in the car and seems to enjoy it. She barks when people pull in but doesn’t bark excessively. She need confidence but we are working on it helping her feel secure and worthy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tesa, a Avon Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Avon, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Avon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Avon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Avon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Avon paves the way for another one to be saved.
