Chuckie's Story...
Chuckie is the newest addition to Rescue. He was an owner turn-in, his busy family had a baby to care for and couldn’t give Chuckie the love, time and attention a young Bully needs. At just 8 months of age, Chuckie is a very sweet lad who will “sit”, come when called and loves to play with gentle children. He is working hard at remembering his potty training, but he’s a very bright lad who is keen to please so this shouldn’t take long. So if you have lots of patience, tons of energy, a great sense of humor, a kind heart and the time a young pup needs to keep him on the straight & narrow – here’s your boy!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chuckie, a Houston Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bull Terrier for sale in Houston, or seeking a Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bull Terrier breeders who help with Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
