Stormy's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, declawed, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Stormy's Story...
Stormy is a stray who was rescued during a downpour (hence the name).
Neighbors had been feeding her in their garage - as a stray - and then
moved - leaving Stormy to fend for herself - until she was rescued
that storm....alone-cold-afraid and hiding under a bush.

Since her rescue she has not shied away from the food dish and is now up
a healthy 14 pounds. She has tabby striping with tortoise shell
Stormy is a great cat, affectionate, loves attention and on occasion,
sit on your lap and talk to you. She's front declawed and she's
living with two dogs...the little one she tolerates, the big one...well
big one (110lbs) views her as an appetizer, so she needs to find a more
appropriate permanent home that can show her the love and affection that
she deserves.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stormy, a Scottsdale American Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Scottsdale, or seeking a American Shorthair cat from a breeder in Scottsdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scottsdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scottsdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scottsdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
