Annora 2's Story...
Annora (two) is one of the last 19 dogs that have come to Omaha from Oklahoma. To read more about the "Oklahoma Dogs click here

"Annie" came to Omaha with puppies about to be born! Her pups have grown and gone to their homes. Now Annie is ready to find her own forever home. Annie is a black and white split-faced female border collie with ticking (freckles!). She is young, around 2 years old. Annie has a underbite, but it doesn't hinder her at all!

Annie is a sweet girl and is learning to become more social. While she isn't quite a social butterfly, she's made good strides in meeting new people and hanging out in social situations. Annie has been around children, other dogs (including small dogs), and cats. More information and photos coming soon.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Annora 2, a Bellevue Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Bellevue, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Bellevue.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellevue already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellevue breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellevue paves the way for another one to be saved.
