Tabitha's Story...
Little Tabitha is a new addition to Tassie's Hope. She was rescued from the Greenville Animal Shelter, where her former owner had dumped her, along with the other family pets, in late Feb. Tabitha is a doll. We are so glad we found out about this little sweetie in time to save her life. Tabitha is now safe and sound in a Tassie's Hope foster home. She has been spayed, fully vaccinated, heartworm tested and is on montly heartworm preventative. Tabitha would love to be someone's best friend. She enjoys going for walks, cuddling on the couch and would love to be able to sleep on her person's bed. Since Tabitha is new to us, we are just getting to know her personality, likes and dislikes. We do know that Tabitha is gentle around other dogs. If you would like to give this little beauty a forever home to call her own, please contact us today at tassieshope@earthlink.net.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tabitha, a Carrollton Wheaten Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Wheaten Terrier for sale in Carrollton, or seeking a Wheaten Terrier dog from a breeder in Carrollton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Carrollton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Carrollton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Wheaten Terrier breeders who help with Wheaten Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Carrollton paves the way for another one to be saved.
