Scooter is an indoor, house and cage trained dog. Currently, he lives with a family of four including two pre-teens. The best situation for Scooter will be someone who wants a lapdog and is ready to give lots of love and attention. He’s great with kids, but prefers sitting and hanging out with adults. Scooter is like your typical Bichon Frise so be sure you read up on this breed before adopting.

Also, Scooter does not do well with boarding situations. So if you travel or are gone a lot, you should consider another pet. Scooter goes through a lot of anxiety at most boarding places and it takes him awhile to adjust. He travels well by car and is fine if he’s with you…we took a 1,500 mile roundtrip with us and there were no problems.

Scooter will be greatly missed as he is a very loving, personal pet..........

If you would like more information about one of the dogs featured above, be sure to send a note to the "Contact Person." This is the person fostering the dog and they will be happy to answer any questions you have. Please don't just show up at Adoption Day expecting every dog to be there. We are limited by the number of volunteers who can help at each Adoption Day.
Also, in sending your note to the Contact Person, be sure to include information about yourself, family, home, yard, fence, other pets, work situation, and pet accommodations. This information will help us make the best match between you and one of our dogs.
