Precious Treylena's Story...
Precious is still waiting for her new home. Can you resist those gorgeous green eyes and beautiful long Maine Coon hair? We don't get a lot of long haired Maine Coon mixes in rescue who are also as sweet and loving as Precious. Precious Treylena was originally adopted from us in 4/2008 when she was about 10 months old. Her name was Treylena when she was adopted but she is now named Precious. Her owners moved to Kentucky and could not take their animals. She is playful and young and would do well with another cat or dog companion. She could also be a great only cat if she has lots of human attention. Precious is used to being an indoor kitty and loves to scratch on her kitty scratching tree. She is outgoing and friendly as well as affectionate and loving. Please e-mail us at spcagainesville@hotmail.com for an adoption questionnaire if you can help Precious or Muffin . You can also speak to our adoption coordinator, Robin, at PetsMart on Archer Road in Gainesville every Sat and Sun from 11am-5pm. All of our rescues have been leukemia tested, vet checked, are current on vaccines and have been microchipped. They have also been spayed or neutered prior to adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Precious Treylena, a Putnam Hall Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Putnam Hall, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Putnam Hall.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Putnam Hall already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Putnam Hall breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Putnam Hall paves the way for another one to be saved.
