Muffin's Story...
06/19/2011: Muffin is at PetsMart. Please stop by an visit her. She is getting very depressed and sad being in a cage. We would love to find her a forever home, but if you are interested in providing a temporary home we would also like to speak to you. It may look like she is just a black and white kitty but she has gorgeous chocolate marking. Please help this shy girl find her new home. Visit PetsMart on Archer Road in Gainesville or e-mail us at
Original Post:
Muffin is still waiting for her new home. Can you resist those gorgeous blue eyes? Muffin was originally found as a stray kitten when she was 3 months old. She is now 4 yrs old. Muffin is a gorgeous Siamese mix with snowshoe markings and dark blue eyes. Her owners moved to Kentucky and could not take their animals so Muffin was signed over to rescue. Muffin is a shy kitty but very sweet and loving. We know someone is going to fall in love with her blue eyes and gentle personality. Muffin would do fine with another kitty companion or as an only kitty as long as she had lots of owner companionship. She is used to being an inside only cat and liked to use her kitty scratching tree at her previous home. Please e-mail us at for an adoption questionnaire if you can help Muffin. You can also speak to our adoption coordinator, Robin, at PetsMart on Archer Road in Gainesville every Sat and Sun from 11am-3pm. All of our rescues have been leukemia tested, vet checked, are current on vaccines and have been microchipped. They have also been spayed or neutered prior to adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Muffin, a Putnam Hall Snowshoe cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Snowshoe for sale in Putnam Hall, or seeking a Snowshoe cat from a breeder in Putnam Hall.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Putnam Hall already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Putnam Hall breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Snowshoe breeders who help with Snowshoe rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Putnam Hall paves the way for another one to be saved.
