Hunter's Story...
G’day ladies and gents- Hunter the dog here. Yes, all dog, good dog, new dog for you? I am 6-years-young and ready for a new start in the world. I have always been an outside kennel dog and have never known the life of luxury to be inside with a family. I expect I will have to learn and adjust, but I sure am willing! I am smart, mellow and a very mannerly dog.

If you would like a good-looking weim without all the puppy energy, I am your guy. I am athletic and went running frequently with my previous owner. I love to play with other dogs too! I have never met a cat, and I like kids, but haven’t lived with them before. I don’t like being crated, so I would need to learn house-training in hopes of free-roaming my new home.

If someone could give me a new start, I know we could have great adventures together! When you think of rescuing a weim- think of me! Hunter

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hunter, a Grand Haven Weimaraner dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Weimaraner for sale in Grand Haven, or seeking a Weimaraner dog from a breeder in Grand Haven.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Haven already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Haven breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Weimaraner breeders who help with Weimaraner rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Haven paves the way for another one to be saved.
