My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Frank.

I came to the shelter when I was a little bit older than most of the kitties here. I'm working on being a really social kitty, but I'm having just a little difficulty. I am getting better at it though. I don't run and hide now when people come in, but I don't exactly run up to be petted. I'm trying though, so please be a little patient with me.

I'm quite good at talking to you, I'm just not sure yet what you're going to do if you touch me. I'm very fond of treats like Party Mix and I really love bits of canned food. My shelter moms call it a trick to be able to pet me - I just call those things yummy!!

I guess I'm going to be a really big cat when I grow up. I'm only a year old, but I'm bigger than the adult cats here. I don't know if that's a good thing or not, but if you're looking for a really big fellow to become your best friend, I might be the guy you're looking for.

At Altered Feral State, we work with feral cat colonies. All of our kittens were removed from the colonies and completely socialized when they are less than 8 weeks old. We don't offer them for adoption until they have been tested, vaccinated and spayed or neutered.

Our adoption fee of $75 only covers a very small portion of our costs, but to us, it's all about finding the best home for these wonderful kitties.

If you are interested in providing a home for Frank, please go to our website, download our adoption application and email it to us at afsga@att.net.
