Shay's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Shay's Story...
Shay is a stunning 9 1/2 month old male shepherd mix. He's a fabulous dog and only weighs 46 pounds. He absolutely loves other dogs and gets along great with cats. He is very well-mannered, sweet, affectionate and easy going. Shay is not a wild dog, as he knows his basic obedience. He is housebroken and is not a barker. Shay would adjust well in just about any home, but would probably be happiest in a home with another dog to run and play. He will be neutered next week, is current on all his vaccines, including his rabies, distemper and bordatella. Shay is frontlined, on heartworm prevention and has been microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shay, a Old Bridge Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Old Bridge, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Old Bridge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Old Bridge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Old Bridge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Old Bridge paves the way for another one to be saved.
