Rose's Story...
This is Babyrose, a 6 month old seal point female who started life as a 1.5 ounce mouse sized kitten, and for awhile, we weren't sure she was going to pull thru. We dropper fed her and eventually she became strong enough to eat on her own, but it took awhile for her to catch up with her lively siblings. She is basically a sweetie, but still has a bit of the Siamese temper going at times when her siblings rough house too much with her; she growls and tries to look angry. She is healthy, up to date on all shots and was recently spayed. She is a small cat and weighs about 3 pounds...we don't feel she is going to get a lot bigger. One of her eyes is a little runny on occasion, but the vet cannot find anything wrong; we think perhaps it's an allergy. It's not gunky or infected, simply like a tear duct overflow and is easily blotted up. She eats well, is litter trained and is used to noises of all sorts...we feel she'd adjust well to a new home with someone to fuss over her. Email to adopt her.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rose, a Somerset Siamese kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Somerset, or seeking a Siamese kitten from a breeder in Somerset.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Somerset already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Somerset breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Somerset paves the way for another one to be saved.
