Jefferson's Story...
Hi there! My name is Jefferson. I was running the streets when a Paw’d Squad volunteer found me with this rope tied around my neck. She started crying when she saw my burned back and got me up to Paw’d Squad headquarters right away. I’m really nice - I love other dogs and car rides and people and I really don’t understand why someone tried to burn me. Maybe they didn’t like me because I’m cross – eyed. Now don’t get me wrong, I can see real good. It’s just a little hard to focus sometimes so if you throw a ball, I’ll run after it…I just might not see where it lands right away BUT I PROMISE I WILL FIND IT AND BRING IT BACK TO YOU. So if you would like to give me a permanent home, please email The Paw’d Squad right away. You won’t regret it!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jefferson, a West Los Angeles American Staffordshire Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier/Labrador Retriever for sale in West Los Angeles, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in West Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
