Claude's Story...
Wags and kisses are everything that Claude is about. He loves people, kids, other dogs and even cats...he is an equal opportunity lover of everything! Claude is a gorgeously handsome chocolate Lab boy ready for adventure. His ideal adventure is to find a family to love and care for him as Claude has much love to share.

Claude is about 2 to 3 years old and weighs about 70 lbs. He has great house manners and is both house and crate trained.

Claude would like to find a family that is active and would play fetch and take him on walks. He is a medium active boy and loves to go and do, but is able to settle down after and nap nicely at his foster mom's feet. He would make a great walking buddy!

Claude is neutered and up to date on all vaccines. He is ready for his new family and hopes he gets lots of applications! Please don't let Claude down, apply today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Claude, a Boston Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Boston, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Boston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Boston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Boston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Boston paves the way for another one to be saved.
