Howard's Story...
Do you have a soft spot for scared kitties that need to be shown love? Well, if you do, "Hi, my name is Howard." I need a person who would be willing to work with me because I am very scared. I was trapped along with my siblings behind a Howard Johnson hotel. Hence the name Howard. When they trapped me I was so scared that I tricked them into thinking I didn't have use of my back legs, but it was just because I was so scared. Now I move around great! I do a lot of creeping because I'm scared but if you catch me to hold me, I don't fight it too much because I actually like it. Would you show me what forever family is and what love is? I would really appreciate it. Hope you come visit me soon. ~Howard
Howard is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and spayed/neutered.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Howard, a Marion Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Marion, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Marion.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marion already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marion breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marion paves the way for another one to be saved.
