Mikey-Sponsor Me's Story...
Meow, meow, meow, Mikey here! I was dumped at Happily Ever After and didn't feel that well when I got here. They soon found out it was because I have feline leukemia. Now that they have taken care of me for a while, I am doing great. I am so handsome and healthy, it's amazing! I love to play with toy mice and jingle balls, but I have to admit the toy mice are my absolute favorite! The staff thinks I must have been a real tease of a mouser at one time. I need to find myself a forever family that doesn't mind that I have feline leukemia. That would be super cool! Come visit with me soon, my purring and spunky behavior will amaze you! ~ Kisses, Mikey

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mikey-Sponsor Me, a Marion Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Marion, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Marion.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marion already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marion breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marion paves the way for another one to be saved.
