Angelina-Sponsor Me's Story...
Hi there, I'm Angelina. I came to live at Happily Ever After in December, 2008, when I was a little over a year old. The reason why it says "Sponsor Me" behind my name is because I tested positive for Feline Leukemia (FELV). However, if anyone has a really big heart and doesn't care that I have FELV, I would love a home! I have been told that my chances of being adopted are not great because I have FELV, however, I have also been told there are some people out there who wouldn't care...so I thought I would ask for a house! If you don't think you could take me home but think I am cute and want to sponsor me that would be way cool. I will live out my life at the sanctuary and would love to have a friend out there to support my stay here! I am a beautiful, sweet, shy, but loving girl. You could even come just visit me if you'd like. My friends and I would love company! ~Kisses, Angelina

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Angelina-Sponsor Me, a Marion Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Marion, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Marion.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marion already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marion breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marion paves the way for another one to be saved.
