found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, not good with dogs, and good with cats.
Buddy has all the best of the Brittany qualities—smart, alert, energetic, playful, and affectionate. He will chase and retrieve any ball, and is an expert frisbee chaser and catcher. He also has other tricks that he’d love to show off to a new family.
Buddy has an extremely high energy level, and must have a home with a large, preferably fenced yard where he can stretch out his legs several times a day off-lead. Squirrels and birds would be a definite plus. He would do well as a running, walking, or hiking companion, however he needs a safe place at home where he can cut loose and just run, run, run!
Buddy would do best in a home with an experienced Brittany owner who would be able to socialize him more than he has been in the past—walks, car trips, family visits. He gets along well with children, cats, and most other less-dominant dogs. Because we wish to personally visit any prospective new home, please limit inquiries to New England and upstate New York.
Buddy is a very handsome and healthy four-year-old. He is neutered, up-to-date on all shots and immunizations, lyme, heartworm negative, and microchipped. He is very intelligent, well-mannered, knows his obedience commands, travels well in a vehicle, and just tolerates trips to the vet. For the right person, Buddy will make an excellent companion and a fun, entertaining addition to the family. If you are interested in meeting Buddy please fill out our online adoption application at www.americanbrittanyrescue.org!
Buddy was surrendered to ABR in October, 2009, when his family could no longer give him the attention he needed or an outlet for his high energy level due to a new baby in the house.
