Kisses and Nuzzles, I'm Kittie! What mix of dogs I am no one knows, but we speculate yellow lab with something or other! I was born in December 2006. I am at Happily Ever After because someone wanted to show their children "the miracle of puppies" and I didn't get sold. I needed a place to go because they didn’t want to take care of me, and HEA took me with the condition my mommy got fixed. When I first arrived at HEA, I liked to do puppy things like play nibbling on you for attention (not mean, just mouthing), chewing on rawhides and Kongs with treats was cool too, and playing with toys was always a blast! Because I have been at HEA for several years now, I have become more mature and sophisticated! I don’t mouth anymore, which I am told is a good thing…it means I am “growing up”. I am good at going outside and playing with other dogs, but I couldn’t live with other dogs or cats because I am not great at sharing my "things" and my space! I still like to chew sometimes, so rawhides and Kongs are still a must. The one thing that hasn’t changed about me is that I LOVE to play with toys! Nothing beats playing fetch with plush toys. Because I have been here so long, I sometimes go on “sleepovers” at people’s houses and I love to sleep in human beds! The coolest thing about me is that I LOVE kids. They are so fun to play with and they are great at giving belly rubs which is my favorite thing EVER! I have done several school presentations and have mingled with the Girl Scouts when they came to visit. It’s great being around those who like to give love! Would you be willing to be my forever friend and permanent belly scratcher? Let me know soon! ~Kisses, Kittie
