Here's what the humans have to say about me:
"Paulie" is a unique short-haired polydactyl (7 toes on each front paw and 5 toes on each back paw!) tuxedo male kitten looking for the perfect home. His estimated birthdate is early April 2009. "Paulie" was trapped by his foster mom as a feral kitten, at approximately 18 weeks of age, in the Woodland countryside in early August 2009. Over the next few months, "Paulie" became increasingly friendly (food is definitely the way to his heart!) and now purrs when it's mealtime and allows his foster parents to pet and hold him. He may never be an outgoing lap cat and would probably do well in a quiet home. He has great social skills with other cats and has even "adopted" another younger foster kitten, frequently taking it upon himself to groom her (see photo). He is perfectly litterbox-trained and has not once had an accident outside of the box.
"Paulie" is neutered, vaccinated for FVRCP & Rabies (not usually included in the OKP protocol), tested for FeLV, microchipped and dewormed. His adoption fee is $85. Please e-mail his foster mom, Beth at bakissack@ucdavis.edu for more information.
