My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

7/18/2011: We are still looking for a home for Jellybean. Please e-mail us if you would like to help Jellybean. We need a temporary foster home or permanent home who will provide her with a safe and loving environment while we help her. Jellybean is in a multi cat long term foster home and she gets picked on by the other cats. She isn't happy and she needs to find a home where she can be the only cat or with only 1 or 2 other nice kitties. Jellybean is not dominant and now runs and hides from the more dominant cats in the house. Due to the stress she has developed several medical concerns such as hair loss and a weakened immune system. We are willing to provide all medical treatment necessary for Jellybean to heal and become healthy but she needs a different environment to do this. She is about 2 years old and is a very affectionate and loving cat. She would love to have a lap to herself. She used to jump onto her foster mom's shoulder and just hang out there but she isn't happy enough to want to do this anymore. We feel horrible watching this once sweet healthy outgoing youngster become so unhappy. We are begging for someone with a loving home and attention to devote to Jellybean to please contact us. Jellybean is a mocha chocolate colored calico with orange speckles. Very unique! She used to love attention and was very talkative but she is just about given up. If you are interested in helping Jellybean, please e-mail us at spcagainesville@hotmail.com for an adoption questionnaire. Again, all of her medical expenses would be provided by our vet including flea prevention, etc. to get her healthy. Please contact us for more information but we really hope there is someone out there who wants to help this really sweet girl. All of our cats and kittens have been leukemia tested, vet checked, vaccinated, dewormed, treat for flea and parasites with advantage multi, spayed or neutered, and microchipped prior to adoption.
