Buttons's Story...
UPDATE 2/1/10:Becky and Buttons are waiting for the perfect home. They don't like going to PetsMart on weekends and it is difficult to see their true personalities while they are there but their foster parents say that they are a terrific pair of kittens. Fun, loving, and playful. Please consider adopting this terrific tabby pair.
UPDATE 1/4/09: Becky and Buttons are a terrific pair of kittens. As you can see in the pictures they love each other and they love to snuggle. They are also very curious and inquisitive kittens. Becky is the biggest and most independent. She has a lot of personality. Becky loves to play the most and she is the most talkative. Becky also loves to sleep on your lap when not sleeping with her brother. Buttons is more timid initially but quickly warms up to new people. He likes being held more than his sister and is more of a snuggler, but he can also run and play with the best of them. These kittens are about 14 weeks old and have had all of their vaccinations and are spayed and neutered. They will be at PetsMart on Archer Road in Gainesville each weekend from 11am-5pm Sat and Sun for adoption. E-mail us at spcagainesville@hotmail.com for an adoption application to bring with you when you go visit them or speak to Robin our adoption coordinator during our adoption hours. There were 4 kittens found starving, dehydrated, and covered in fleas weighing only 1/4 of a pound in early Nov. Their brother passed away within the first 48 hours but the 3 remaining kittens have done well. One has been adopted but Becky and Buttons remain. They have been hand raised and they are very sweet and loving kittens who love to sit in their foster mom's lap. All of our kittens are leukemia tested, vet checked, vaccinated, dewormed, treated for fleas with advantage, spayed or neutered, and microchipped prior to adoption. Our adoption fee is $100 per cat or kitten to help cover a portion of the medical and care costs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buttons, a Putnam Hall Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Putnam Hall, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Putnam Hall.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Putnam Hall already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Putnam Hall breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Putnam Hall paves the way for another one to be saved.
