Bond's Story...
Bond is a 3 year old American Pit Bull Terrier that has been dealt a rotten hand in life. For the first 8 months of his life he was left in a horse stall with little food and was literally starving when he arrived at our rescue. He was rehabbed and adopted out to a family that promised to give him the life he deserved. That was not their intention all along and Bond was dropped back off into rescue after living with them for over a year and a half. He now sits in a kennel depressed and doesn't understand what happened to his family. He loves to play ball and be outdoors if he has someone to play with him. He has gone through a round of obedience training and walks great on a leash. Please give Bond a forever home once and for all.

Adoption fee is $250. This covers the cost of the spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchip, and heartworm test.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bond, a Vernon Hills American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Vernon Hills, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Vernon Hills.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vernon Hills already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vernon Hills breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vernon Hills paves the way for another one to be saved.
