Grace's Info...

I am already spayed, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Grace's Story...
Grace was ready to be loaded in the truck headed for the pound when her savior ran up to the Rabies Control officer and begged him to spare this beautiful Bluetick Hound. He graciously released Grace into her savior's custody, and here she is in rescue looking for a home. She has a beautiful soul to match her stunning face, all mannerly and well behaved. She does quite well with other dogs, cats, and humans of all ilks and sizes. She has paid her obligatory visit to the vet, just like all rescue dogs, and she is healthy, happy, spayed, and ready to chase squirrels or whatever Blueticks chase, just for fun, in your backyard.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Grace, a Jackson Bluetick Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bluetick Coonhound for sale in Jackson, or seeking a Bluetick Coonhound dog from a breeder in Jackson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jackson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jackson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bluetick Coonhound breeders who help with Bluetick Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jackson paves the way for another one to be saved.
