Snooker's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Snooker's Story...
My name is Snooker, and I'm a male black Cairn Terrier mix. I'm 2 years old, and I weigh 12 pounds. I'm a friendly and outgoing little guy who gets along well with other dogs and is comfortable with kids. I like to be held, I'm fond of belly rubs, and I walk well on a leash. I like to be brushed, but I seem to be having a perpetual “bad hair day.”

I can be seen at the Central Shelter County Animal Shelter at 5480 Gaines Street, San Diego For more information, call 619-767-2634.

If you come to see me, please have these numbers with you so that I can be located for you: My ID number is A1309297, my necktag number is C324, and my kennel number is C046. The shelter is open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Closed Sundays, Mondays & Holidays.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Snooker, a Vista Cairn Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier for sale in Vista, or seeking a Cairn Terrier dog from a breeder in Vista.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vista already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vista breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vista paves the way for another one to be saved.
