Nala's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Nala's Story...
Nala is a huge, glossy, soft, dog and kid-friendly 80-pound, 10-month-old black lab/pit bull-mix looking for a loving home. Nala is living is a wonderful foster home where she is happy, playful and good with the kids and other dogs in the home. She’s a little nervous in new situations like photo shoots, but at home she’s a delight although she plays a bit rough with the family cats. She is already housebroken and crate-trained. She would do wonderfully with someone with the time to give her exercise and take her through training classes. She is very healthy, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped and heartworm-tested. To meet and possibly adopt Nala, please fill out an adoption application on the web at http://www.chicagolandbullybreedrescue.org/application.asp
Her adoption fee of $200 supports the rescued dogs of CBBR. For more information, or to follow up on your application, please contact Carolyn at carolyn@cbbr.info or 773-418-3286.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nala, a Chicago Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
