Samantha's Story...
CARS picked Samantha up in Tyler, Texas. She'd had a litter of 9 puppies and was chained to the fence to keep her in the yard. There was only a 3 foot fence around her yard. When I picked her and 2 of her male puppies up, she was penned up in a collapsible cage that was barely long enough for her to fit in. The crate was sitting on the wet muddy ground with no tray in the bottom and a tarp covering her. She could not stand up since the crate was too small for her. We had her tested for heartworms and she tested positive. She has since been treated for her heartworms and is doing great! She will always have a scarred heart but she has many good years left ahead of her. Samantha is current on her vaccinations, rabies, intestinal worm preventative and flea prevention. Samantha is a wonderful dog and is loved very much. She has very soft hair even when she's dirty. If you squat down next to her, she will snuggle up against you and bury her head in you for attention. Her adoption fee is $150. Her heartworm treatment alone was double that. If you are interested in giving Samantha a forever home, please call or email me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Samantha, a Sealy German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Sealy, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Sealy.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sealy already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sealy breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sealy paves the way for another one to be saved.
